Spring is here!
We are beginning work on the 35th and Hawthorne “Secret Garden”. Work parties are scheduled for every Sunday. Meet in front of Noah’s Bagel’s at S.E. 35th and Hawthorne at 11 am. We will walk to the garden promptly at 11:15.
This week we need lots of helping hands! The garden is full of weeds. All of the soil needs to be turned, the weeds removed, and cardboard put down as a weed blocker. If there is time, we can begin building the peas trellis.
What to bring? Your smiling faces! This is a great time to get involved and learn about springtime garden planning.
Access to the garden in only permitted during work party times, unless you have received permission from myself or Brian saying otherwise.
